UPDATE 04/25/2012: We got another scooter! Jerry was having terrible withdrawals so we got a 2012 Kymco Like 200i scooter. It is the black and blue color and looks really good in the sunlight. We ordered a new Bell Revolver EVO modular helmet, a white one with a dark smoke lens. We'll post some pics soon.
Our last scooter adventure was a 2011 tour of the South Texas Rio Grande Valley. Previous adventures included a full ride of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline drive in 2010, a fantastic ride on the Gulf Islands National Seashore in 2009 and a trip to all 67 counties in Alabama in 2008.
We hope that our adventures have and will inspire others to get out and see the country and to not be in such a hurry. The fun isn't just the destination, the fun is also the journey. And remember, scooters are cool no matter what your age or gender! They not only get amazing gas mileage but they are a blast to ride. You can get a small 50cc scooter to go 30 MPH or a big 650cc maxi-scooter to go 90 MPH. Pick your make, model and color and get out there!
