Our Scooter Adventures

It is with a sad heart that we must say that our scootering days have come to an end. On October 2, 2011 we sold our Genuine Blur SS220i scooter. Jerry is now having to rely on his wheelchair more and more and we felt it was time to stop riding. We will certainly miss riding and we have these pages and lots of photos to look back on. All of our pictures can be found in the Picture Gallery, a link is located in the right hand menu.

Our last scooter adventure was a tour of the South Texas Rio Grande Valley. Previous adventures included a full ride of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline drive in 2010, a fantastic ride on the Gulf Islands National Seashore in 2009 and a trip to all 67 counties in Alabama in 2008.

We hope that our adventures have and will inspire others to get out and see the country and to not be in such a hurry. The fun isn't just the destination, the fun is also the journey.
